I have officially begun work on a version 4.0 of the Sqwark Collection. I'm going to rewrite the entire code from scratch and probably redo many of the visuals. You will NEED to download version 4.0 when it's created, there's no plan to make an autoupdater as of yet. In the meantime, if you encounter any issues, please feel free to play my animations online or use the official Flash debugger program (look on archive.org). PLEASE NOTE: There is NO eta yet! It'll be ready when it's ready.
The Sqwark Collection is a pre-packaged Flash Player that I tailor-made in 2021 to play all of my animations spanning back to 2015. It runs on Flash's own .exe/.app and AIR's .apk "projector" files to run, meaning you don't need anything installed to play them. When I initially made the Sqwark Collection, Adobe had dropped all support for .sfw files and Ruffle (a Flash recomp project) was still in its infancy. Nowadays, Ruffle is so advanced that it may soon overtake the need for this player! I want to give a massive shout-out to Ruffle, their dev team, supporters, and vollunteers for their hard work and contributions! Check them out here: https://ruffle.rs/
Just download the app and that's it! The app itself doesn't require any extra downloads as all the files are hosted on a webserver. The app reads an online list of all of my current animations, then once you click on your desired flash file it loads that animation into the app and you're done! As I said above, when you export a Flash animation as an app or executable, it includes Adobe's own Flash player so you don't need any additional programs installed. Unfortunately, the way I made the app does mean you need an active internet connection to load and play anything. At the time when I made this, I believed that to be the correct solition. In a future update, I plan to create both a lightweight version and a local version.
These are the current bugs I'm aware of:
Current fix: Try reloading the app again, it should work. If you suspect the file is down just message me on Twitter.
